First Colony Community Services Association Office Update

The First Colony Community Services Association (FCCSA) office has been closed to visitors due to the COVID-19 virus. The plan is to open the office on June 1, 2020 with certain guidelines in place.

As we continue social distancing, we ask visitors to make an appointment first if you wish to speak in person with a staff member. You can call the office main number at 281-634-9500 and the receptionist will direct your call to that person to make your appointment.

If you need to pick-up items such as pool tags or a tennis key, you do not need an appointment. For these visits please note the following:

  • Only up to three (3) visitors allowed at a time in the office.
  • Face mask is recommended.
  • Always allow up to 6 ft for social distancing.

Community Update 4/29/2020

Dear Members,

We hope you are staying safe and are well.

In determining the dates to reopen our office and facilities, we continue to monitor state and local government direction and evaluate when it is safe for our team members and clients.

The office will remain closed to visitors through June 1st or until further notice. Once the office is open, we will see visitors by appointment only. Visitors will be required to wear masks while in the building. You can call the front desk or call or email the person you wish to make an appointment with directly once we open.

Staff is doing its best to maintain the day-to-day operations and will continue to do so under the current conditions.

Board Meeting Schedule

The regular monthly April Board meeting scheduled for April 23,2020 is postponed due to the COVID-19 health crisis and social distancing. In the event that the Board calls for a virtual meeting, the meeting notice and how-to sign-up to speak, will be on the website and other FCCSA social media. FCCSA members wishing to speak regarding matters related to Association business at the virtual meeting, must sign up the day before the meeting and will be allotted a maximum of three minutes to speak. Members that have signed up to speak will be emailed the information of how to join the virtual meeting.

Free Drive-Through COVID-19 Testing

United Memorial Medical Center will conduct FREE drive-through COVID-19 testing at Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land, 18111 Lexington Blvd. Free testing will be at the site Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Anyone experiencing COVID-19 related symptoms such as temperatures exceeding 100, shortness of breath and dry/persistent coughs may be tested at the site. According to United Memorial, test results may take up to three days due to the current surge in lab testing; however, everyone will be called by the hospital whether they test positive or negative.

Community Update- 4/2/2020

If you need to drop off a payment or a form that you cannot email, there is a drop box just to the left of the main entrance.

If a resident has received a violation notice, the violation will be put on hold through the end of April 2020.

Community Safety

Effective, March 16, 2020, until further notice the Association office will be closed to walk in traffic.

Residents are asked to make an appointment prior to coming to the office.  When making the appointment you will be asked the following:

  • Have you traveled out of the country in the past 30 days?
  • Have you been exposed to someone who is or might be a carrier – do they exhibit any symptoms?
  • Can your business be handled via email, telephone or fax?

Please keep in mind that the majority of Association business can be conducted online or over the phone.

Note that there is a drop box just to the left of the main entrance that can be used to drop off payments or forms if you cannot email or fax them.  Large envelopes can fit through the main door.

New Tennis Court Scheduler- AppointmentPLUS

First Colony Community Services Association (FCCSA) is introducing a tennis court reservation system. AppointmentPlus will allow residents to schedule a tennis court that meets their needs. No more first come first serve, unless the court has not been reserved online. FCCSA approved tennis lessons and leagues will be scheduled in the system as well and will continue to take precedent. No resident will be allowed to reserve more than one court on any given day in order to give all residents an opportunity to play.
