It’s time to clear out those filing cabinets, desk drawers, closets, and old electronics! Join us on Saturday, September 19 for secure document shredding by ShredTex AND electronics recycling provided by RAKI Services.

📅 When: Saturday, September 19 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Where: Paper Shredding will be in the FCCSA Parking Lot – 4350 Austin Parkway & the Electronics Recycling will take place in the parking lot of Austin Park Elementary (due to area construction)
🚗 Format: Drive-thru — stay in your vehicle, and we’ll help take care of the rest!

📄 DOCUMENT SHREDDING DETAILS

Bring your outdated paper documents containing personal, confidential, or sensitive information, including:

✅ Bank statements and financial records
✅ Tax documents and old returns
✅ Canceled checks
✅ Credit card and account information
✅ Medical and insurance records
✅ Pay stubs and payroll information
✅ Old bills, receipts, and invoices
✅ Employment or personnel records
✅ Legal documents and contracts
✅ Other confidential paperwork

💻 ELECTRONICS RECYCLING DETAILS

RAKI Services will also be onsite collecting a wide variety of electronics and equipment for secure recycling and disposal. Their services include secure electronic recycling as well as hard-drive shredding and data destruction.

Accepted items include:

💻 Computers & IT Equipment: Desktops, laptops, servers, monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, routers, switches, modems, UPS systems and laptop batteries.

📱 Mobile Devices: Smartphones, tablets, PDAs, e-readers, smartwatches and fitness trackers.

📺 Consumer Electronics: Televisions, stereo systems, DVD/Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, digital cameras and camcorders.

💾 Data Storage: Hard drives, SSDs, external hard drives, USB flash drives, SD cards, CDs/DVDs/Blu-rays and backup tapes.

🔌 Other Electronics: Copiers, fax machines, projectors, telephones, networking equipment, cabling and accessories, GPS equipment, lithium batteries, lead-acid batteries and more.

🚫 PLEASE DO NOT BRING: Household trash or other non-electronic/non-recyclable household items. For electronics, please only bring items that fall within RAKI Services’ accepted categories listed above. No CRT TV’s will be accepted.
