Halloween fun begins on Saturday, October 26th at the FCCSA’s “Trunk or Treat” event!

What is a “trunk or treat”? During the event, adults decorate the back of their cars for Halloween, load up on candy, and kids “trick or treat” from car-to-car. Kids come in Halloween costumes where they can safely run around to collect candy. Adults get to be creative decorating the trunks of their cars while seeing all the cute kids in their costumes. The fun will begin at 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the FCCSA office parking lot located at 4350 Austin Parkway, Sugar Land. Adults decorating their trunks need to arrive at 4:30 P.M. to start decorating and be finished by 6:00 P.M.

First, we need you to sign up to decorate the trunk of your car. Please e-mail the office at community@firstcolony.org to reserve your space. There will be limited space so sign up now! First, second and third place prizes will be given out for the best decorated trunks. Please, no blood or gruesome horror elements in your decorations as this is for family friendly ghosts and goblins. You should also bring candy to give out to the trick or treaters. Don’t forget not to bring candy containing nuts for those who may have peanut allergies. Food given out must be store bought and wrapped; not homemade per City ordinance.

Children trunk or treating must be accompanied by an adult. We will be giving out first, second and third place prizes for children’s best costumes. The winners will be announced at the end of the event. You must be present to win.

Come out with your kids and enjoy music, bounce house and other activities!
