Join us on Saturday, May 16th (note date change. This date is subject to change due to the COVID-19 health crisis) from 8:00 am – 9:00 am to learn how-to Stand-up Paddleboard. Stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) offers a fun way to play on the water, with the added benefit of a full-body workout. And, since you stand at full height on your board, it gives you a unique vantage point for viewing what’s down under the water and out on the horizon.

Before you head out on the water for the first time, it’s helpful to know a little bit about SUP and basic technique.

The class will cover the safe use of a paddleboard and after you are comfortable with learning the paddleboard techniques on land, you will be given the opportunity to practice your skills on the water. The class will be held at the Oyster Creek Boathouse located at 15910 Creekbend Drive, Sugar Land, 77478. There is no charge for this class and pre-registration is not required.

Instruction will be given by Marshall Brown of Lighthouse SUP.
