Halloween fun begins on Saturday, October 30th at the FCCSA’s “Trunk or Treat” event!

What is a “Trunk or Treat”?  During the event, adults get to be creative and decorate the back of their cars for Halloween, load up on candy, and kids can safely “trick or treat” from car-to-car in their Halloween costume!  The fun starts at 4:00 P.M. and will go on until 6:00 P.M. at the FCCSA office parking lot located at 4350 Austin Parkway, Sugar Land.  Families wanting to participate in decorating their trunks will need to arrive at 2:30 P.M. to start decorating to be finished by 4:00 P.M.

Trunk or Treat participants who are wanting to pass out candy will need to register your spot. To sign up your car, please go to the mobile app.  If you haven’t signed up already you can visit the Apple or Google Play Store to download the app by visiting the stores and searching for FCCSA.

  1. Select “Getting Started” on the app home screen
  2. Select “Request Resident Access” at the top of the home page
  3. Complete the form with your information select “Sign Up”
  4. Please allow 72 hours for your request to be processed

There will be limited space so sign up now! First, Second and Third place prizes will be awarded for the best decorated trunks. We kindly ask that you refrain from displaying any blood or gruesome horror elements in your decorations as this is a family friendly event. This event was very popular in the past, so keep in mind to bring enough candy for all the trick or treaters.  We ask that you do not pass out any candy that contains nuts for those who may have nut allergies.  Any food given out must be store bought and wrapped, not homemade per the City of Sugar Land ordinance.

There is also a place on the mobile app to register if you are attending with children.  This is to help us ensure there is enough candy provided for the children.  If you have questions on signing up on the mobile app, please e-mail community@firstcolony.org.

Children who are trunk or treating must be accompanied by an adult.  Adults, we want to see your costume too!  There will be a costume contest for children and adults where we will award First, Second, and Third place prizes in a children’s category and an adult’s category.  The winners will be announced at the end of the event, and you must be present to win.

Come out with your kids and enjoy music, a bounce house, a photo booth and other activities!
